Hi What is the period that a company can wait after a alledged offence before they charge somebody for the offence? We have a employee that alledgedly made a rascist remark in February 2010. The company only informed the employee about the alledged offence 2 weeks ago. He is still not charged for the offence. They want to charge him in a week or two. Will this be legal? How long can they wait before charging somebody? This just seems like a court case waiting to happen.See More
