"Excellent Article. I think we have a long way to go to towards increasing the consciousness of our selves and our fellow human beings. At the moment we suffer from a type of "metastasis" of our thoughts. Our current reality is formed based…"

Time for Meta-Business

Posted on February 20, 2011 at 20:04 0 Comments

In a world and country where  chaos often rains, it is frequently believed that more skills, more education and more training is the only offering to appease the monster god called production. However, in a time where guru's tell us that the are aligning, that world destruction is upon is, but that there is hope, if we change our attitudes, our views and beliefs. Books like The Secret and Matrix Re imprinting (too mention but a few)will have us believe that all we need to do is to imagine a…

RIMS MANAGEMENT CONFERENCE 2011

Well done to all project leader that attended the Rims Management Conference on 14 and 15 Jan 2011. Mokoya Lodge was the ideal setting to get away from it all and to refocus our energy for the year ahead. Using an in-house developed new tool for Strategic Managers, the group engaged in a Role-based, Process Re-egineering (RPR) activity that took them to a new level of insight.  RPR consists of a journey that starts with the definition of the problem base in an organization. The activity is…

Professional Bodies - not all just good news!

Posted on October 10, 2010 at 2:14 3 Comments

While a lot of talking is going on about the OFO and the introduction of Professional Bodies and Designations, little to know attention is given to real critical thinking of what we can achieve with this initiative. Perhaps it is time for a more systems orientated approach - i.e maybe we can actually, really, look at unemployment in RSA. How is it that the current approach to skills is driven only by organised labour and business? Do we not realise that what we are implying, is that existing… Continue

ha ha... Good to hear from you! I've been doing Assessor training (under license from Assessment College) and have also been focusing on internal training at the broadcasters - and then the usual assessments and moderations. No production work since last year - things are tough out there! I've been accredited by Services SETA as an Assessor and Moderator for the NVC and Generic Management qualificaitons, so hoping to do something with that soon... Any ideas...? Regards,
