Employment for intellectually impaired people

Posted on February 22, 2010 at 13:08 1 Comment

I would be most grateful if anyone could assist me. I am desperately looking for employment for someone who has a slight intellectual impairment. Are there any agencies etc who deal specifically with this? I was told that the Dept of Labour should be able to assist, but to date I have not had any success with them. Could someone perhaps offer some advice that would help me please?

Hi Dorothy

I am well thank you. I trust you are keeping well also. Nice hearing from you.

Regretfully I don't have off-the-shelf content, but I am available as an industry sounding board, learning designer, and course developer.

Another of my specialities is in the area of learning transfer to the workplace, by way of Job Aids and on-the-job Performance-enhancing Toolkits.

Kind regards

It's wonderful to be in a position to colaborate again, Dorothy!

Today I specialise in Human and Intellectual Capital Development - stemming from my love of both Instructional Learning Design and Journalism.

As such, I consult in Curriculum Development, besides offering implementation services in both broad diciplines.

I'm sure there are synergies we can explore, which could translate into viable projects, contracts and revenue.

With this in mind, I invite you to view my CARL ROODNICK ASSOICATES profile on Linkedin.
