Assessor

Hi FolkIf any of you are interested I am running an assessor workshop at the end of April in the Vaal Triangle for a very fair price. If you know anything about me, this course is extremely thorough and has a particualr emphasis on assessment in a technical environment where much confusion reigns over theory and prakties! regards DaveSee More

Assessor registration

Dear AllA certain SETA I am dealing with, seems to believe that in order for assessors to be registered, they (the assessors) need to be credited with the actual standards they want to assess. I have never come across this before as i myself am registered with more than one seta, due to the nature of academic and vocational qualifications which i have. i do not have any unit standard based qualifications.Have there been changes relating to this which i have missed? regards See More

A very wise man by the name of Vygotsky (1997:181) said "that labour expressed through the hands has no independent value whatsoever". To summarise - do not think you can…See More

I have recently together with a partner established a training provider called Situational HR Trainers. We are hoping for our accreditation to come through shortly with the SABPP. My background is in HR, but I have specialised in instructional design. I am particularly interested in performance assessments and cooperative learning techniques.
What companies or organisations are you with?
Situational HR Trainers. I believe we have established a unique training model - being based loosely on the theory of situated learning.
