Our sincere condolences to the family, Cedars Academy, and all the skills development related associates of Wilma Manuel. Wilma was one of the early members of skills-universe in the days when the site was formatted to encourage discussion on all matters related to skills development.
Skills development providers will be aware that in January 2022 the Quality Council for Trades and Occupations (QCTO) confirmed that qualifications developed before 2009 (legacy qualifications, or unit-standard based qualifications) would end registration of 30 June 2023.
The Services Seta has issued a letter confirming that the accreditation status that skills development providers currently hold for legacy qualifications will remain valid in association with the qualification last date of enrolment (30 June 2024), and the last date of achievement (30 June 2027).
