Skills-Universe

Good day

I am currently a freelance facilitator and skills development consultant, based in Gauteng. I will be making a great trek to the Western Cape by the end of the year, permanent relocation.

In preparation, I have been chatting to various locals with regard to freelance work in the Western Cape, and have been warned that water is cold and full of sharks. I have decided to test the waters by introducing myself to you:

Leanne Charles,
Managing Director, Skills Navigation Consulting (www.skillsnavigation.co.za)

Fun, bubbly, like a kid in a candy store when in front of a class of eager minds, highly experience in working with diverse groups, assessor, mentor/coach, excellent networks, enjoys stimulating conversations and a good bottle of wine (happily married and not looking, etc, etc, etc.

Should you be on the look out for a facilitator, skills consultant (with impeccable references), I will be in the Western Cape from January 2010 and at your service.

As I look out my window in Johannesburg, pass gridlock of traffic, raged drivers late for meetings, due to the taxi stopping to drop off a passengers I can almost hear the Cape whisper…”who cares if the water is cold, our hearts are warm”

I look forward to working with you.

Lea

P.S. Please contact me should you for my CV, supporting documents or to say hello.

Welcome to Cape Town!
One of the constants is South Africa - Cape Town or Joburg is that the taxi drivers behave the same - you must always expect them to stop wherever and whenever - that hey will (if you allow them) upset your morning etc.
Barring that constant - we have (often) 4 seasons in one day. We always have wind in Summer and warm winetry days with the most exceptional sunsets and sunrises.
We can be warm once you get past that clique-ish group that huddles in every corner.
I'm sure you'll be welcomed by all on this network. There are many others you can join - so watch the press and other sites.
Today it is warm and windy - January when you come - it will be warm and windy - and you'll wonder when is this wind ever going to stop - never - without the Cape Doctor we'll be doomed to extinction....
Enjoy the permanency of your stay....
Welcome,
Pieter
