If enough ordinary people, who are each exceptional in one area of business, combined their expertise, could they achieve extra-ordinary business success?

That's the question! What's your answer?

I am setting up a new network for people with valuable skills to trade. Do you feel that you are not being challenged enough ... or you just hate your job? What if there were a way for you to play in a team part-time (maybe even full-time) but with the 110% commitment of a champion, would you be interested? Check out the website

The idea behind IBI is to inspire and be inspired, do something worthwhile, feel good, have fun, make a difference, get wealthy and leave a worthy legacy. Maybe even inspire a future generation or three.

Hi Shaun

Interesting question. My thoughts are yes and no. Yes as you would be covering all the bases for success, possible no, as it would depend on whether or not that would be enough to make it sustainable. Sustainability often rests on issues such as value systems and the principles that they support, paying forward and your mindset and subsequent treatment of the rest of humanity.

On a practical note - I signed up but cannot open the window that popped up so have no idea of the info it contains. Please could you email it to me at xandre@livingthebrand.co.za.

Much thanks

Xandre

Hi Xandre,

Thanks for your comment. Given what you wrote, I think you might like some of what you see on my site. Values, principles, sustainability and making a positive difference on a global scale are all there. Hope you like ;-)

Oh, I thought I'd another point here. As I see it there are three "gateways" into a dynamic team;

1. Competence - "knowledge, experience and ability" as Henry Ford put it. Being able to pull your weight.
2. Excellence - that comes when you are living in your "flow" (see Wealth Dynamics) ... you at your best is best for all.
3. Vision - which in turn is determined by heart, values & principles (bad people don't aim for good things)

Anyway, that the way I see it working within the IBI team building strategy. Not too formal, just people who like each other, finding each other and working together. I think it can be fun!

Hello Shaun,

Icant help but be moved on the difference you are making in the world with one inspired idea at a time. I believe in devine moments and therefore this is one of them. I have a passion for inspiring people to find their purpose as I have noticed that it is not only the young generation that lacks this but most people are doing their jobs becasue that is what we were taught. After tertiary education, you look for a job and you work until retirement without realising the fire that has been burning within you that you wanted to pursue to make a difference. I am also a grateful person so I relate to this "Passion for your purpose is a powerful expression of gratitude" it is so profound. I want to make a difference in people,communities and the world even if its with one person at a time. I have started this by forming a circle of friends on Finding Your Purpose and in a circle of 6-8 people i have managed to empower 2 people. I would like to be involved . With this in mind I will be doing what I am passionate about - People Development.
