My company (international call centre in Century City, Cape Town) has an excellent and challenging position available for a senior training facilitator. The ideal person must have:

1. Call Centre experience
2. Team Leader and Management facilitation skills / experience
3. SDF qualification
4. Accredited assessor
5. Accredited moderator

The trainer will be responsible for the design, development and delivery of soft skills, leadership and coaching programmes. You should have a great track record of facilitation of soft skills programmes to different levels of employees and call centre experience.

It will also be advantageous if you are registered with INSETA and are accredited to facilitate, assess and moderate financial qualifications!

This is not an entry level position! Please contact me directly if you are interested and/or know somebody who may be suitable for this role! I will the make a recommendation to my company as a referral.

Forward CVs to macthreinir@gmail.com and contact me on 074 1822 464. Please submit CVs before 02 February 2009.

Thank you

The Guarantee Trust, Fasset-sponsored, work-readiness programme has accounting graduates available from 1 Dec for a free review period in the Cape Town area. Accounting/Auditing firms can use the review as a pre-screening mechanism. Call Lindsay on 021 762 9345/9245 or email: linzeduca@cybersmart.co.za if we can allocate a graduate to your practice and let them exercise their skills!

Hi Chris and Tessa
Thanks for the feedback. I am in Gauteng and decided against attending as I only received confirmation of the venue very late yesterday afternoon. I might add the venue is about an hours drive away from me. Time is important this time of the year as there is work to be finalised and delivered before the holiday break. The only presentations I am sorry to have missed is Dr. Meyers talk on QCTO, and Graham Herbert.
Have a great weekend all.

No - feel very much the same way! It was advertised as CPD session but really just gave out info. Graham Herbert was the only really worthwhile part of the day.

Has anyone attended the Services Seta Roadshow in Absa House yesterday (19 Nov)? I left feeling depressed to say the least. There we ended up watching DVD presentations of Services Seta staff reading there presentations with very little, if any value added. Some (most) were verbatim duplications of the handouts. And...nothing new to be learnt. At least the catering was excellent, but I could easily have read through the handouts in my office. During the Q&A session it was the same story. We are aware of the backlogs, but matters will improve....(Heard it all before). Am alone in the way I experienced this event?
