Hi,

I am assisting a NPO with Accreditation. This NPO does not have any funds available yet and therefore I am assiting them partly pro-bono. I am hoping that someone can assist me with the following on the same principle.

I am desperately seeking courseware material for this NPO from CTFL SETA :

12115 NQF Level 1 5 Finish and store pressed and items
123630 NQF Level 1 5 Establish customer requirements and sell a garment
123632 NQF Level 1 20 Make Garments
123633 NQF Level 1 5 Source materials
243684 NQF Level 2 36 Join component parts
243685 NQF Level 2 36 Design and make patterns for sewn products
243692 NQF Level 2 36 Assemble and join component parts
243696 NQF Level 2 36 Perform outwork processes
243698 NQF Level 2 36 Press finished garments and ensure the dispatch thereof
243701 NQF Level 2 12 Demonstrate an understanding of the regulatory occupational safety, health and environmental practices
243707 NQF Level 2 36 Perform manual processes in the cutting room
117356 NQF Level 3 30 Machine sew covers for upholstered items
10925 NQF Level 4 35 Assemble complete garments
The Learners that will go on this training will not pay any fee's towards the NPO. The NPO basically exist on funding and the funding is not enough to pay for courseware or anything but to keep the centre running.

Hope there is someone willing to assist this NPO urgently. We need this urgently since the Seta will do a site visit during March when these material must be in place.

The NPO is willing to provide the necessary advertising to the Sponsor of this coursematerial that can even advertise on their premises, on the courseware self and also on their website. More information will be given to the company willing to assist this community outreach NPO.

Regards

Hi

In February 2010, I posted a Request for Proposals for Training through the Company Makana : the feedback regarding that project is as follows -

It seems that the project we hoped for will be on ice for a while. It is mainly cause by reasons that the Government in the neighboring states are still looking at the proposals and seeing if and where it will slot in with their current budgets.

Also the CEO of Makana, who is the main driver of this Training Initiative with the selected companies as partners, is going through a very difficult time. He has lost his son and his wife is not coping with this at all. He is the main person leading this initiative. He has given word that I must contact all the companies and just inform them that the project is currently on ice, not called off but only on ice until things settled.

My apology for not providing earlier feedback. As soon as I have new feedback and development I will contact you ASAP.

Kindest Regards

Training Accreditation
I see Mpho Mpholo have had the same problem.... I need assistance with the accreditation process and cannot make sense of the requirements on the Services Seta's website. I am based in Johannesburg and I do IR / disciplinary training as part of my consulting services, and I am not a full-time trainer. Can anyone perhaps assist me.
Thank you

Good day guys. Could you give me prices on Occupational Health and Safety Act courses, where the law is explained?

Regards.
