Are you from the Tourism sector and employed within a Tourism Authority or Hotel or similar? Are you involved in training staff?

THETA and the National Department of Tourism are hosting Train-the-Trainer one-day sessions in all major cities during February on the Know your Country, Know your City short course. Facilitators who complete the Programme will be registered on the Tourism data base to be selected for future training of the KYC, KYC Module.

If you are interested in registering for this Programme, please email Don at info@tourismtraining.co.za giving your full name; ID number; selected city/venue (see below table); email address; tel. no; name of employer; present job title/function.

The time and details of the workshop in Nelspruit is as follows:

Good day! I'm fairly new to Mpumalanga - moved here in May this year. I have a company called "Ndzalama Competency Learning". We are accredited at the ETDP SETA to offer occupationally directed programmes like Assessor, Moderator, Facilitator and SDF training. We've been operating for 6 years in Limpopo and trained assessors and moderators in all 9 provinces. Opening a branch in Gauteng soon. Would like to get to know the people from my new province!

Hi Brian

Yes i think so! The aim really is to get providers in the province to chat about what they experienced in the province - spending a year in Machado (ouch) certainly qualifies you.... :)
What company are you from?

Hi Werner,

We spent most of last year working in Machadodorp - at Assmang Chrome, running a diversity training with strong team building components. Do we qualify for membership?
