I am a global citizen a member of the United Nations Foundation which supports the United Nations.
I am a Proprietor of the Academy of Ethnomedical Sciences which is registered in USA by copyright and at the Department of Trade and Industry, South Africa. Education in ended in 1960 when bantu education was implemented. Education was offered according to eleven different languages which made it very inferior and caused conflicts and failure of examinations up to date. The competent and efficient teachers resigned in the late 1950s protesting against bantu education, thence there were no competent and efficient teachers.
Education is the systematic development and cultivation. The primary school is the beginning of basic education and the teachers are educated to educate the pupils from grade 1 to grade 5. The language is English as a medium of instruction which national and international. English in schools is for the South African children irrespective of color to develop the country as a nation. The 1976 unrest was caused by education given in different languages and it continued until 1990. Then 1994 South Africa became a democratic country, but the children were taught in their respect languages which a failure of examinations every year up to date.
The most important courses such as mathematics, chemistry, biology, and physics were not offered because there are no qualified teachers for those fields, but examinations written every year with failure. These courses cannot be offered languages. What South Africa should do is to offer education in a right direction in the meaning of education by qualified teachers and English should be considered in these fields; the languages are considered as vernacular. This is the aim of producing professionals in our country and the black and white future leaders.
