I was retrenched on 10 July this year, and for some strange reasons I did not feel hurt or even cried when our HR broke the news to me, I remained strong and believed that when another door closes another opens. Being retrenched has made me check what is important in life and I know that one has bills to pay but when the are no means to do so what do you do. I worked as an education administrator at a private school and when I was retreched I worked as a personal assistance, I know the shift between the proffessions doesn't match up but I had to live my other job as I was not financially sustained. At the moment I work as a data capture on temporary basis until next week when my contarct will be ending, I will have to look for another job, but I am not looking for just another job I need a career that will give me job satisfaction, full of challenges and engaging. My interest lie in accounts hence I would like to do Payroll but I was told that I need to have bookkeeping background before I can do a payroll course, How true is this? I am now using my private email that is 0721976382@vodamail.co.za
