Hi there,

I am currently developing a course on personal lifetime goal setting. Can anyone provide more information on how one goes about trademarking or registering such a course in terms of intellectual property?

Hi Anne

I am an assessor and moderator for 17 qualifications and am currently managing a training branch and would like to know where to from here for me. My passion is helping people to unleash their full potential and creating an enviroment that is conducive to learning. I love working with a diverse group of people and have always excelled in this area. I derive great pleasure in seeing others acheiving their goals and helping them do so. I find that I become very emotionally involved though. I am currently awaiting to start the OD ETDP qualification. I also facilitate 90% of our learnerships. I know that this is the place that I want to be at however I feel that there is so much more I can offer. Can you offer some advice?

Hi Annelize,
To some extent I understand your frustration, having been in a similar position. Allow me to pose a few questions for your consideration:
What are 5 key things you've learned about the call centre environment that you can teach newcomers?
What kind of activity/work comes naturally to you - those things you think "everybody can do this"?
What do you hope to achieve with your B.Com that you can't do now?
Have you considered coaching as a possible alternative to training - have a look at www.comensa.org.za
Let's say you were here on earth to teach the world about one word, what do you think your word could be? What really resonates with you?
If you could create your perfect work situation right now, what would that look like?
For more specific advice you're welcome to get in touch with me directly at judyjvr@mindz.co.za
