Hi,

I am interested in hearing the views/opinions of fellow ETD Practitioners on how the changes in legislation relating to occupational qualifications is impacting on them, their organisations and the training departments.

Good Morning,

I am busy with some research on Learners with special needs, i managed to get some information, however i still need more information. I just need to know where to go, to get the following information:

 - Legislation affecting learners with special needs

 - What tests are used or are there any standard tests for special needs learners

 - Learning styles

 - Possible sources of additional support and guidance.

Your assistance is greatly appreciated.

Many thanks

Dear Jolanda,

Thank you very much for your request and posting. We have the OD-ETDP material available. What are you looking for specifically? The whole diploma or certificate or the individual unit standards and skills programmes?

My best, Ashwell Glasson

Hi All,

Our company currently offers the ODETDP L5 through RPL. If you would like more information please email me shafeeqah@in-tuition.co.za

As for QCTO, we received an email on the 31 May 2011 advising us of the New Skills Development Handbook. The ad is "QCTO Prepares for Tak-off". You can make enquiries regarding this theteam@rainbowsa.co.za. I hope this helps.

As for the Level 5 and 6, we made application to CHE regarding our Level 5 qualifications and we have received feedback, however ETDP and SSETA still quality assures our Level 5 programmes. I am in the process of gathering more information regarding the requirements and will surely inform should i receive any clarity on this matter.
