Hi All,

In the end we did find the necessary Courseware for the NPO as mentioned before. Thank-you for everyone that assisted and provided me with quotations. It was much appreciated.

I am looking for courseware for Qualification : National Certificate : Theology and Ministry (48891) - it is 120 Credits on NQF Level 2. It resides with HW SETA.

Regards

Hi,

I am assisting a NPO with Accreditation. This NPO does not have any funds available yet and therefore I am assiting them partly pro-bono. I am hoping that someone can assist me with the following on the same principle.

I am desperately seeking courseware material for this NPO from CTFL SETA :

12115 NQF Level 1 5 Finish and store pressed and items
123630 NQF Level 1 5 Establish customer requirements and sell a garment
123632 NQF Level 1 20 Make Garments
123633 NQF Level 1 5 Source materials
243684 NQF Level 2 36 Join component parts
243685 NQF Level 2 36 Design and make patterns for sewn products
243692 NQF Level 2 36 Assemble and join component parts
243696 NQF Level 2 36 Perform outwork processes
243698 NQF Level 2 36 Press finished garments and ensure the dispatch thereof
243701 NQF Level 2 12 Demonstrate an understanding of the regulatory occupational safety, health and environmental practices
243707 NQF Level 2 36 Perform manual processes in the cutting room
117356 NQF Level 3 30 Machine sew covers for upholstered items
10925 NQF Level 4 35 Assemble complete garments

The Learners that will go on this training will not pay any fee's towards the NPO. The NPO basically exist on funding and the funding is not enough to pay for courseware or anything but to keep the centre running.

Hope there is someone willing to assist this NPO urgently. We need this urgently since the Seta will do a site visit during March when these material must be in place.

The NPO is willing to provide the necessary advertising to the Sponsor of this coursematerial that can even advertise on their premises, on the courseware self and also on their website. More information will be given to the company willing to assist this community outreach NPO.

Regards
Bianca Moll

Hi,

I believe that when companies or persons do course development or any other services that have a price tag on, that they should provide the following :

1. Company Profile with details of the company (this is necessary to validate the existence with CIPRO)
2. Tax Clearance Certificate (good standing)
3. A signed Service Level Agreement.

At least with that information there is much to do when the company does not produce. And this will also provide you with the necessary information, should the company not deliver and suddenly is un-contactable to launch a criminal charge against them. At least you know who to lay charges against with the necessary information on hand. And it is easy to track down their physical address through SARS, especially if the Police is requesting such informaiton.

Doing business with a private person - okay that is a bit risky.

Regards,
Bianca

Ebeth, I really feel for you. But did you even meet the person to see if there really was material and where they are based? What do you have that validates who the are and enable you to take action?

You know there are bad people in ever sphere of life and some of those will take advantage of the good going on here. I think as much as the site provides us with a forum to market our wares (so to speak), it is still up to every buyer to take the necessary steps to ensure that the seller is credible and legitimate.

As much as the site is a great communication tool, we should not be be lured into a false sense of security because if you remember, when you registered, there was no selection criteria and anyone can get on here and act legitimate.

I guesse i'm just saying lets all be vigilant because I've read a post like yours once too many times on the site.

I really hope you get a break and get your money back in the least. Every rand counts at this time.
