Have you seen the National Policy Development Framework?

Why do I raise this now? Because an important document was published at the end of last year. It's entitled:
National Policy Development Framework 2020.

The document explains the purpose of the framework, and then deals extensively with defining policy, the process of reaching policy, and the contribution of stakeholder engagement.

That's where we come in - see the graphic on page 10 - the public, that's us.

The framework also includes quality assurance and oversight of policy making.

I would like to have further discussions on this document, as policies within skills development are our daily life.

So please make some time to read it - let's agree over the weekend 6-7th - and then next week will be informed, and I look forward to your comments.
