Hi,
The rules and regulations regarding SETAs are available on the websites for SAQA and all the SETAs. They are mostly located on the documents sections of the websites. Similarly, you can get information on the accreditation of training providers on the ETQA sections of the SETAs websites. There are detailed information on the steps, requirements and forms for accreditation.
The most important requirements for accreditation are that you must have a Quality Management System in place, have registrered assessor and moderator for those courses you want to be accredited in, your training materials must be matrix alligned and also have a suitable training facility if you are doing out of site training.

Dear Yolandie, thank you very much for your posting regarding accreditation and the processes required. I am more than willing to partner or assist in the process for a stake in the business. Opportunities abound and if we stay positive and keep things practical, no doubts we can pull something off. I will contact you directly. My best, Ashwell
Please contact me ( lynettemyers@vodamail.co.za) regarding the above, I come from an academic background and have over the last 3 years developed unique skills programmes that I am willing to share with others so that as many South Africans as possible can be trained in key areas.
I would like to know how this registration process works please email me :elijahcmiti@gmail.com

Hi

Accreditation process is not that difficult once you have all policies and procedures in place. The best route to follow is to ID with which SETA you need to accredit, and then contact them. They will provide you with their requirements as well as a self evaluation document to their standards. See attached documents I received from MERSETA when I went through the process.

Thank you Frikkie Ferreira This was very helpful.

Hi Lynette

I am interested in your portfolio and wish to collaborate with someone in providing broadbased training across a diverse spectrum. I was an English teacher for 17 years during which period I also served as a national grade 12 marker/moderator and a Gauteng regional chief marker/assessor and moderator. I spent 7 years in senior government positions as transformation and later strategy manager. That was followed by a 3 year stint as CEO of an industry association in Cape Town - an opportunity which gave me unique insight into the critical skills gaps. I am teaching English again as a substitute teacher until I have completed my accreditation as facilitator and moderator. You can e-mail me at anthonylouis@live.co.za.
